Arrive to Salta
Welcome to Argentina and the start of your unforgettable Uyuni motorcycle adventure. Upon arrival in Salta, a Moto Amigos representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in this beautiful colonial city, famous for its Spanish architecture, Andean culture, and dramatic mountain scenery.
After time to relax and explore Salta, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner and tour briefing before beginning our motorcycle expedition across the Andes and legendary Uyuni Salt Flats.

Day 2 390 km
Salta - Yavi
Today’s ride takes us deep into the spectacular landscapes of northern Argentina and the Andes Mountains. Leaving Salta behind, we follow winding mountain roads filled with endless curves and breathtaking scenery before entering the colorful desert valleys of Jujuy Province.
Along the route, we visit the famous town of Purmamarca and the iconic Seven Color Mountain, one of Argentina’s most spectacular natural landmarks. After lunch, we continue riding through the legendary Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage canyon renowned for its dramatic landscapes, ancient culture, and incredible motorcycle roads.

Day 3 300 km
Yavi - Uyuni
Today we cross into Bolivia and ride deep into the remote Andes on one of the most spectacular motorcycle routes in South America. After border formalities, we head toward Tupiza on smooth mountain roads surrounded by dramatic volcanic scenery and vast high-altitude deserts.
As the ride continues above 4,500 meters, the landscapes transform from rugged red-rock valleys to the endless white horizon of the legendary Uyuni Salt Flats — one of the world’s most iconic adventure riding destinations.

Uyuni
Today we ride across the legendary Uyuni Salt Flats, one of the most iconic motorcycle adventures in South America. Surrounded by volcanoes and endless white horizons, this surreal landscape delivers a true feeling of freedom as we cruise across the world’s largest salt desert.
We’ll stop at the famous Incahuasi Island, a cactus-covered island rising from the middle of the salt flats, offering spectacular panoramic views and unforgettable photo opportunities.

Today we ride from the legendary Uyuni Salt Flats into the Bolivian Andes toward historic Potosí, one of the highest cities in the world at over 4,000 meters above sea level.
The route delivers spectacular high-altitude scenery, remote mountain roads, and authentic Bolivian culture before arriving at the beautiful Hacienda Cayara — a historic colonial estate dating back to the 15th century. Tonight we relax with a traditional South American BBQ and local wines in an unforgettable setting.

As we descend into Tarija, the scenery changes completely, revealing palm-lined plazas, vineyards, and one of Bolivia’s most relaxed colonial cities. Famous for its high-altitude wines, Tarija offers the perfect mix of adventure riding, culture, and great food.

After lunch, we descend the legendary Cuesta de Lipán, one of the best motorcycle roads in South America, famous for its endless switchbacks, panoramic mountain views, and thrilling curves. The day ends in the colorful village of Purmamarca, home of the iconic Seven Color Mountain.
